Lockhart River Police Station

We are pleased to announce we are now in the final stages of construction for the new Lockhart River Police Station, commissioned by the Queensland Department of Public Works.

The new facility will incorporate a new police station, watchhouse and courthouse. Construction commenced in April 2011 and is on track and due for completion by April 2012.

Over the past 10 months, Bryant have forged a strong relationship with the Lockhart River community. As a result this relationship has blossomed into 13 local indigenous people gaining employment on the project. As part of our commitment to community development and in line with State Government indigenous employment initiatives, we see this as a very important step forward in our future growth and contribution as a corporate citizen.
